1815 Spode Imari Pattern Sauce Tureen, Cover, & Stand
Presented for sale is an outstanding 1815 Spode Japan style Imari pattern sauce tureen, with matching cover and stand. The set is decorated in crisp underglaze blues overpainted in iron-red enamels stepped up in gilt. The set is embellished with twisted branch handles and leafy scrolls.
All pieces are in excellent condition with a minute amount of age appropriate wear to the gilt.
Size of tureen with cover: 6 3/4 Height by 6 3/4 Width (handle to handle) Size of stand: 9 1/2 Diameter (handle to handle).
