Presenting a mid 19th century 33-piece Neo Rococo English Dessert set, with pattern number (8678) attributed to Spode, circa 1850. The set is decorated in a blush pink reserve on a cream body embellished with gilded vines, leaves, and flowers. The raised decoration and twisted handles are reminiscent of grape vines. The set makes a spectacular display grouping.
The set is in very good condition with discrepancies noted below:
Size of 1 teapot with 1 cover: 8" Height by 10" Width (spout to handle); Tip of spout repaired.
Size of 1 sucrier with 1 cover: 7 ½" Height by 8" Width (handle to handle); minor interior discoloration and gilt loss.
Size of 1 milk jug: 4 ¾" Height by 6" Width (spout to handle); old repair to inside of handle.
Size of 2 cake plates: 11" Width by 9" Height; minor gilt loss.
Size of 1 waste bowl: 3 ¾" Height by 7 ¼" Diameter; minor discoloration to interior.
Size of 1 stand: 8 ¼" Diameter.
Size of 6 coffee cups: 3 ¼" Height; minor discoloration to the interior of 3 cups; minor gilt loss.
Size of 6 saucers: 6 1/8" Diameter; minor gilt loss.
Size of 6 tea cups: 3 ¾" Height; minor discoloration to the interior of 3 cups; minor gilt loss.
Size of 6 saucers: 6 ¼" Diameter; minor gilt loss.
