Early 19th C. English Salt Glazed Stoneware Molded Cake Plate
A late 18th to early 19th century English salt glazed stoneware cake plate of a drab cream color with a deep relief molded floral pattern in square form with open handles. The eleborate all-over relief pattern on this plate was created by pouring liquid into molds and them pressing the molten clay into shape.
The plate is in excellent condition with an even coloration to the surface and no visible repairs or flaws.
Size: 10 ¾” Width by 9 ¾” Height.
