Set of 12 Early 19th C. Imari Pattern English Ironstone Plates

Presenting for sale a set of 12 early 19th century Imari pattern Ironstone dinner plates decorated in deep underglaze cobalt blue and vibrant overglaze iron red, all highlighted in gilt. The decoration is very lavish and will make a stunning display for cabinet use.

The plates are in excellent condition with minor age related gilt loss, attributed to Coalport but not marked as such, an impressed "1" is the only mark evident.

Size: 9 7/8" Diameter.
