Pair of Mary Gregory Cranberry Stoppered Perfume Bottles

Beautiful pair of vintage Mary Gregory style cranberry perfume bottles with stoppers. The bottles each feature the figure of a child at play and are finely painted with layered white enamels.

Legend has it that Mary Gregory glass got its name from a woman at the Sandwich Glass Company who was an employee that lent her talents to painting the glass with the figures of children in a white slip enamel. This legend has never been proven, but the name of Mary Gregory is used to describe most colored glass decorated in this manner.

The bottles are in excellent condition.

Size: 7 ½” Height.
