19th C. Saxon Porcelain Hand Painted Portrait Cake Plate
Offered for sale is a charming 19th century Saxon porcelain cake plate, hand painted in fine detail with the framed portrait of a little girl in an 18th century gown holding a plate of fish, attributed to the firm of Fraureuth, f. 1866. The plate has cut-out handles and is beautifully highlighted in gilt, fabulous for cabinet display.
The plate is in excellent condition with a small amount of age related gilt and paint wear.
