A stunning late 19th to early 20th century French Regency style ormolu and crystal chandelier with 14 outside lights. The corona is fitted with cut arrow-drop prisms and tiered beads that cascade down to an ormolu band. The band has 7 double-arm candelabras attached with a total of 14 lights. The base is basket shaped with strung prisms and finished with a cut crystal ball.
The chandelier is a large size, perfect for a big dining room or entrance hall. The ormolu is finely cast and retains a mellowed bronze finish. As with most of our older chandeliers, it's been completely rewired (to current US code) and we've refurbished the crystals and candle sleeves. It is a dazzling piece, but rather heavy and delicate; crating is recommended for shipment.
Size: 57" Height by 40" Diameter.
