Carved 19th C. Louis XV Armchair with Aubusson Tapestry
French Louis XV hand carved 19th century armchair or Fauteuil with shell-carved walnut frame, covered in an exquisite Aubusson scenic tapestry, and supported on cabriole legs with curved stretchers. The chair is in sound structural condition with a dark richly aged patina to the finish. The tapestry is in very good condition with minor wear; size 43" H x 29" W x 23" D.
