Oil On Canvas of Mother and Child by Suzanne Eisendieck

Presented for sale is a remarkable Impressionist oil on canvas by German artist Suzanne Eisendieck (1908-1998) featuring her favorite subject a mother with her child. This work is typical of the Monet like theme perfected by this artist who was born in Dantzig, Germany and later became a celebrated and well-known figure in the French art world.

The painting depicts a Mother sitting with her child by the seashore and is titled "La Falaise a Etretat." The colors are vibrant and her brushstrokes masterful and strong. Her paintings often showcase the special bond between a mother and her daughter, which have endeared her paintings to collectors the world over. Eisendieck was a prolific painter and was also an avid collector of Impressionist paintings throughout her lifetime. The painting is in excellent condition.
