Offered for sale is a late 19th century mahogany carved Georgian style library chair. The chair exhibits a beautifully carved frame with an unusual scalloped skirt surrounding all sides of the seat. It is supported on cabriole legs with acanthus chiseled knees.
The chair is of exceptional quality with ample seat and back for comfortable repose. It is upholstered in a deep burgundy velvet which shows minor wear but is still usable. Re-upholstery will be at the buyer's discretion, otherwise, the chair is in excellent condition.
