Late 19th C. Hand Painted French Tole Tray

Lovely late 19th century French scalloped-rim Tole tray, hand painted in a floral design, which is embellished with exotic birds on an ebony background shading to gold towards the center. These charming pieces are beloved for wall hangings or to sit on top of a cabinet for display, especially older ones in good condition like our example.

The tray is in very good age appropriate condition with a mild surface scratch towards the right upper quadrant, luckily the painting is in superb age related condition.
