Pair of French Empire Style Dore Bronze Patinated Sconces

Spectacular pair of Dore Bronze and patinated French Empire style sconces featuring a medallion back plate attached to the extended figure of a winged mermaid. She is holding a torch that supports a large 5-arm candelabrum.

The sconces are quite heavy and in absolutely pristine condition, with very nice detail. They are contemporary pieces but nicely made. They are wired for electricity and ready to hang.
