Early 19th C. Polychrome Venetian Vanity With Mirror or Coiffeuse

Offered for sale is a mid 19th C. polychrome Venetian vanity or Coiffeuse decorated in mustard panels on a teal background, the panels enhanced with beautiful floral bouquets. The swivel mirror is attached to an s-curved frame that sits atop the serpentine overhang under which is a carved frieze that contains a central drawer flanked by two short drawers.

The vanity is supported on graceful cabriole legs and is in good condition with a charmingly aged patina and some restoration to the painted surface.

Size: 61.5" in total height (31" to top of vanity), 39" in width, and 18" in depth.
