Painted Venetian Commode, Rococo Style, Teal & Ochre Reserves

We would like to present a richly painted mid to late 19th century Venetian Rococo style commode decorated with floral reserves. The shaped serpentine top surmounts three long drawers and is supported on cabriole legs. The commode is exuberantly decorated in bouquets of flowers set into ochre panels set against a teal green background.

The commode is in very good age appropriate condition with a slightly warped top and minor restoration to the painted finish, adding to its wonderful patina.

Size: 35" in height, 45" in width, and 20" in depth.
