Pair of 18th century English George II red-lacquered Japanned side chairs with pierced hand carved shell crests and caned seats, The chairs are a petite size and feature delicately carved yokes, the red lacquer stepped up with gilded highlights.
The chairs are in very good condition with appropriate signs of age, all cane is intact; perfect for accent chairs, delicate in nature.
Size: 37 ½” Height x 18” Width x 15 ½” Depth, size to top of seat 13 ½” H (without seat cushion).
