Italian Carved Regencé Style Giltwood Mirror with Panels
A beautiful Regencé style giltwood mirror with rectangular plate surrounded by mirrored slips within a foliate ribbed frame. The mirror is topped with an arched pierced cresting, the carving featuring flowered urns and Prince of Wales Feathers with an abundance of scrollwork. The crest is backed with a smoke-finished mirror. It is in excellent condition, circa early 20th century, hand carved in Italy.
