19th C. Miniature Watercolor Portrait Of Napoleon After Delaroche

Offered for sale is a charming 19th century miniature watercolor portrait of Napoleon after the original oil painting by Paul Delaroche. The round miniature is housed in a beautiful French ormolu frame with applied mounts and a pierced crest. It is mounted on the reverse with a suspension ring and easel.

They are both in excellent age appropriate condition, the miniature is signed by the artist Berton and is finely executed.

Size of Frame: 3 ½" Height by 2 7/8" Width

Size of Image: 1 ¼" Diameter.
