20th C. Pastoral Oil on Canvas by Toni Bordignon
Offered for sale is a charming early 20th century oil painting on canvas by Italian/American artist, Toni Bordignon, (1821 - ?) The painting depicts a pastoral landscape with fauna, a pond, and large trees in the foreground. The figure of a woman emerges from the rock like door of a castle, which is seen in the background.
The lovely colors are pleasing to the eye and the skill of the artist is impressive.
The painting is in excellent condition and set into a gilded frame.
