Chinese Export Nanking Sugar Bowl, 1800-20

The bowl and cover are in excellent condition free of any breaks or cracks with a minute amount of chipping to the top of one handle. This piece is part of an important collection that was assembled by a prominent Nashville collector over 50 years ago, most of the collection having been purchased from leading New England galleries such as Shreve, Crump & Low who once carried fine antiques as part of their in-store inventory.
