French Alsatian mixing bowl tian late 1800

This French mixing bowl (the legendary French tian) was used in a French farmhouse from Alsace, Eastern France in late 1800's. It was used for several years in French kitchens for washing dishes or cooking. Made from terra cotta, it was also used for double-duty as an oven bowl. Little chips and parts of glaze missing inside the bowl (but it is a very old bowl used for a very long time!!!), no cracks. h: 4"/ diameter: 9". You can see that this bowl was glazed on the inside for ease of cleaning and finished on the outside with a terra cotta rub. Good condition for its age! We ship from Texas (not from France).
