19th. Century English Tea Tile- Charles Dickens Scene

This is a charming Antique English Tea Tile with a scene from Charles Dickens "Bombey & Son" which was written in installments between 1846 & 1848 and published in book form in 1851. This tile was made contemporary to the book publication and the illustration was done by H.K. Brown known as Phiz. Under the scene is printed "Solemn reference is made to Mr. Bunsby" This piece is in no way perfect condition but still a delightful example of an English Tea Tile. Measurements- 6" square, approx. 3/8" thick.
