This is a lovely mid-1960's floor length formal gown by Mike Benet- a top designer of luxurious, elegant and original prom dresses, evening dresses and formal gowns beginning in 1960. The fabric is a powder blue nylon dotted Swiss. It is completely lined with acetate rayon taffeta and having an underskirt crinoline of nylon tulle with rows of ruffles for the full fairy princess effect. The dress has a fitted, fully boned bodice, layered ruffled sleeves which can be worn off or on the shoulders, a long full skirt with a deep [8"] ruffle at the bottom. There is a metal zipper in perfect order and lots of haute couture detail. In very good condition, clean, no stains, no wrinkles, with only one small, skillfully repaired tear to the dotted Swiss [as shown in photo], hardly visible. Measurements- bust 34" - waist 25" - center front to waist 8"- skirt length from waist to hem 45". Size 4 in today's sizes.
