This dress was found in an attic on Long Island with several other doll dresses which I do not beleive are notable. The very well made dress is all silk except for the lining which seems to be a linen or cotton gauze. The ribbon and the red trim on the dress are also silk and all original. The lace is stitched to the dress as is the lining. The front side panels open over the cream silk front panel and have panners which tie over the back. There is a one inch mend at the top of one of the panels which does not show on the outside. Note how beautifully the buttons match the dress. Someone ironed the dress but I think it should be steamed.
I think this is for a 22-23 inch doll
The dress is 12 inches long 5.5 inches at the back between the arms 5.5 inches at the front between the arms 8 inches from the neckline to the bottom of the sleeve
I will be happy to supply any other information
