An early set of eight Chamberlains plates, four marked with an incised chamberlains mark and four without. One plate with the pattern number 1012 listed in Godden's as the India border, blue, green and fawn. Circa 1820's. Over glaze gold. One plate shown in the pictures has a a very tight old staple repair virtually undetectible on the front. Gently scalloped edges. The third picture shows the front of the repaired plate.
