This is a very lovely example of Delizza & Elster jewelry, incorporating many ot the components they are so well known for. This beautiful brooch is in the color shades we often refer to as "Fall". Specifically they are topaz, emerald, jonquil, and burnt orange (or dark hyacinth if you prefer).
The item measures a large three inches in length and approximately two inches at the widest point (top to bottom). The pin assembly is in great working order, and the rhinestones are all present and sparkling. The front of the brooch holds three round, tiered florets which gives the dimensional effect (see photos). The back of the brooch displays the D&E characteristics we look for when identifying their jewelry, including heavy casting, riveting, double-set chatons, and open and closed back settings. This is not your "regular" D&E brooch.... One thing needing to be mentioned is a professionally lasered repair which can be seen in the last photo. You can be assured that the area where it was repaired is most likely the strongest point on the piece but regardless, I have priced it accordingly.
This is a gorgeous brooch and please enjoy the photos!
