This is a great brooch and a classic Coro piece. Produced in 1945 by Adolph Katz, it consists of a sterling silver sword with a brass moon. The stones are faux turquoise, faux pearls and a faux ruby.
The brooch measures approximately three inches in length by one inch across. The pin assembly is in good condition and fully functional. The back carries a round plaque that reads simply "Sterling By Coro"... There are minor surface scratches as is to be expected in vintage jewelry.
A lovely Coro brooch which can be worn for any occasion.
