If you've read my brief bio. you may recall I mentioned my great aunt who in 1985 left me a Samsonite train case full of costume jewelry. This lovely Coro necklace and earring set came from that train case. It has been stored away for many years and the condition is outstanding!
The set is signed "Coro" with the copyright symbol, of which it's known Coro had added by 1955. It has that fabulous 50's quality, if you know what I mean.
The necklace measures approx. 16 and 1/2 inch and the matching earrings measure 1 and 1/2 inch in length. The earrings are screw-on clips..While the necklace carries the copyright mark, the earrings bear the "Coro - pat.pending" mark. which could indicate this was a transitional piece between 1955 and 1956 to be more exact. Overall it's in great vintage condition with no noticeable loss of plating.
This is a classic set that will look great no matter what you're wearing or the occasion....
