Vintage 1980s Christian Dior Coat Brown Wool Ladies Medium Size 10

Label: Christian Dior Manteaux

Description: This is a ladies’ winter coat made in Canada under license to Christian Dior. The coat features wonderful styling with narrow upright collar, flared cut, padded shoulders and raglan sleeves. The coat does up with three sets of two buttons. Note the detailing on the back of the coat. There is a slash pocket with faux flap on either side of the coat. The coat is lined in satin rayon acetate.

Color: Tan brown

Material: Wool or wool blend

Sizing: Size 10 is indicated, but please rely on the following measurements for fit, taking the thickness of the fabric into account:

Shoulders: 23” across from from end of shoulder pad to end of shoulder pad (difficult to measure due to raglan cut, but part of sleeve length could be included in the shoulder width)

Sleeves: 21” from the shoulder pad

Sleeve Inseam: 15 1/2”

Bust: 48” around

Waist: 54” around

Hemline: 110” around

Length: 51”

Condition:

It is in very good condition with very good nappe (finish), except for three small areas where the nappe is worn - one 1/2” linear area near the bottom of the coat, and two other small spots (see last close-up photo). In addition, there is some slight wear to the sleeves where they would contact the side of the coat. The lining has one small light stain on it. Otherwise, the coat looks great and is certainly very usable as is.
