Vintage 1970s Gucci Plaid Raincoat // with Leather Buttons Size 14

Description: This is a vintage 70s raincoat made in Italy by Gucci. The fabric is made of a waterproofed polyester/cotton blend and features a plaid pattern in red, brown and black. The raincoat has a matching belt, but I neglected to photograph it with the waist cinched. It also comes with its original carrying pouch. It has a long and pointy collar and a pleat down the center back. It does up with five leather buttons down the front and also has a leather button at each belt positioned at the cuff of each sleeve. Each button has "Gucci" raised on it. There is a pocket built into either side.

Material: 67% Polyester/33% Cotton

Sizing: Italian size 48 is indicated, which corresponds to a US size 14, but it is cut narrow on the upper arm and upper bust, so please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders: 17" across seam-to-seam

Yoke seam: 16 1/2" across

Sleeves: 24" long

Sleeve Inseam: 17" long

Bust: 42" around

Waist: 46" around

Hips: 48" around

Length: 46"

Bottom Flare: 78" around

Condition:

It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors. The only wear visible is a bit of wear to the finish on the leather buttons, but this is to be expected. Otherwise, this was well cared for over the years and looks like it saw little use.

This is a wonderful example of Gucci design from the heyday of Gucci, when it was truly a luxury maker - this is a great looking raincoat, sure to be noticed.....
