This is a vintage 80s 2 piece suit designed by Emanuel Ungaro of Paris as part of his "pret a porter" Parallele line. Ungaro became chief designer for Balenciaga in 1960, left for Courreges in 1964 and established his own fashion house on the rue Mac Mahon in 1965. This suit is cut in prototypical 80s style with wide, padded shoulders, defined waist and straight cut, above the knee length skirt. The jacket has an applied pocket at either side front and closes with four yellow plastic buttons with black rims. It is lined in golden yellow rayon acetate. The skirt does up with a matching button and a zipper at the back and each sleeve has three matching buttons at the cuff.

Shoulder: 16" from seam-top-seam
Sleeves: 24 1/2"
Sleeve Inseam: 17 1/2"
Bust: 37" around, taken under the arms

Hips: 38" around
Condition: It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors. This looks like it saw little use and was very well cared for over the years.
