Description: This is a wonderful vintage reversible coat made in England by Burberry. The coat has an Irish Tweed exterior in a houndstooth pattern on one side and a polyester/cotton blend rain resistant fabric on the other. In this way, one gets both warmth and rain protection if they wear it one way or simply a warm and stylish coat should they choose to wear it on the other side. The coat is a wonderful mix of simplicity and functionality - raglan sleeves, button-down slant pocket at either side, belts at the cuffs, and 17" kick pleat at the back.

Color: Beige/tan on plain side - 2 tones of brown, black and off-white on the tweed side

Material: 100% wool tweed on the houndstooth side and polyester & cotton blend on the plain side - 67% Polyester /33% Cotton.

Sizing: The order label reads "R 50", which is a European size equivalent to a US/UK size 40, but it appears to be maybe a little larger than that, so please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders: 18" across approximate (difficult to measure due to raglan sleeve cut)

Sleeves: 24" long approximate, taken from estimated shoulder

Sleeve Inseam: 16"

Chest: 48" around

Waist: 48" around

Hips: 50" around, meant to hang loosely

Length: 40 1/2", measured flat

Condition:

It is in very good condition with no wear, tear, odors or stains - the only issues are a few very small light marks on the plain side that I'm fairly sure would come out with a proper dry cleaning. Also, there is one missing cuff button on the plain side, but this should be easy to replace.

This is classic Burberry.....always in style.....great vintage piece in wonderful condition - not easy to find reversible pieces like this......
