Victorian 14K Gold Pearl and Amethyst Stick Pin

This is a beautiful Victorian (1880s) gold stick pin featuring a circular swirl design at the head, with a small seed pearl, and a faceted, round, prong-set amethyst. The pearl is side tube mounted, and both gems are open to the back.

The pin stem is stamped 14K and there is a squiggly, wavy line hallmark after the 14K.

It is in excellent condition with very minor scratches on the gold that are visible with a loupe, they are normal and consistent for the age, and do not detract visually from the lovely beauty of the stickpin.

The pin is 2.5 inches long, the design of the head is 3/8ths of an inch wide. The pearl is 3 centimeters and the amethyst is 4 centimeters.
