This is a pretty pair of 1960's new old stock, unworn beaded slippers. They are fancy black cotton velvet hostess mules. They sparkle with iridescent red, green, silver and gold sequins, each anchored by white seed beads, and flower shaped raised clusters of pink, yellow and orange glass beads with green foliage beads. The shoes have tan leather interiors with hand painted roses on the heels. The velvet is trimmed with metallic gold leather. The bottom soles are brown leather, stamped "Made in Hong Kong." They would look great paired with a sequin top and jeans!
They are in excellent condition, there is just a little bit of foxing from storage on the bottoms, you'll see it in our pictures, but it wipes right off. There is also some curling of the liner inside the toes. But the beading, trim and velvet are pristine, we see no wear or evidence that these were ever worn!
Stamped size 7, they are 9.25 inches long on the inside, 3 inches wide on the bottom ball of the foot, and the wedge heel is 1.5 inches high.
