This is a wonderful 1970's "Catherine Ogust for Penthouse Gallery" designer tunic dress in shades of sky blue, pink, lavender and white cotton. Ogust's signature color block print designs feature her name incorporated into the print, and are highly collectible and still modern and stylish today.
The design features a loose flowing and forgiving straight tunic shape, with wide cuffed sleeves, knotted fabric buttons, and a wide Asian style obi sash that can be worn doubled around the body. Side seam pockets and a modest high mandarin collar are some of the other details that make this garment utterly wearable and comfortable.
In good clean condition but with a couple of very light-pale yellowish spots, not immediately noticeable: one on the right shoulder as shown, one on the front left waist line (hidden when the sash is on), and a teeny pulled thread on the chest. Please see all photos.
About a size Medium to Large (meant to be loose on the body): the bust measures 46, the waist is 46, the hips are 46, the shoulders are 16.5, the sleeves are 18 maximum when cuffs are unrolled, the length is 43 inches.
