Handsome 1940s Black Box Purse with Large Mirror and Rhinestone Handle

This is a beautiful box purse from the 1940s, it is covered in soft black fabric, and features a hinged and sturdy, square gold-tone metal handle, encrusted with prong set white rhinestones.

Upon opening the snap closure, a large mirror nearly the length and width of the lid is revealed. There is an expandable black faille interior compartment.

No maker's signature. It is very high quality in both materials and construction.

In excellent condition. It measures 9.25 by 5 by 2 inches. The glass mirror is 8 by 3.5 inches. The handle adds another 4.5 inches on top.
