Classic 1940s Taupe Gabardine Suit Jacket & Skirt XS

The jacket is lined and has small triangle shoulder pads. The matching skirt is unlined, it has 4 pleats at the hips for a great fit, it closes with a steel side Talon zipper and a button, and has a kick pleat in the back. All seams are pinked. No labels. This is an estate sale item.

CONDITION: The condition is excellent and very wearable, with two small flaws to note. The top button on the jacket is missing, but the buttonhole sits just under the downward flap of the collar, and so the missing button is not conspicuous. Also, there is a small faint spot on the edge of the left sleeve, very minor. No other flaws, no holes, or odors, the suit was professionally dry cleaned and is ready to wear.

SIZE: I would call this a Small to Extra Small. The skirt is 26 inches maximum in the waist, 36 inches in the hips and 27.5 inches long. The jacket is 36 inches through the bust, 30 inches in the narrowest part of the jacket's waist, and 39 inches at the bottom hem/hips. The width between shoulder seams in the upper back is 15.5 inches, the sleeves are 22.25 inches long and the jacket's length is 25.5 inches from mid-shoulder to front hem.
