Weller Pottery 12" Marvo Console Bowl w/Label, Ca. 1925

The Weller Pottery of Zanesville was one of the most prolific of the Ohio Potteries, creating lines ranging from high-end art ware to functional commercial ware.

One of the most enduring of their late period lines, Marvo featured a naturalistic design of lush ferns and tropical foliage, typically in shades of brown or green.

This exceptional Weller Marvo Console Bowl from the mid to late 1920's features ultra crisp mold, and is finished in a gorgeous green matte glaze with brown accenting.

Condition is excellent, free from chipping, cracking or restoration, with minor crazing noticeable on the base.

Marked at the base with original "Weller Ware" paper label, dating this piece to the 1920's.

H 3", D 12.5", base 3.75".
