Large Rookwood Pottery Production Ware Vase, Pink Porcelain, 1915

A large and lovely Rookwood Production Ware Vase, with design by William Hentschel on a shape by John Wareham, produced in 1915, the year of Rookwood's 35th anniversary, which marked the introduction of their new porcelain body composition.

This tall, tapered vase features a banded collar of embossed floral design covered in a glistening soft pink glaze.

Condition is mint, with unblemished interior and exterior, free from chipping, cracking, crazing or restoration.

This substantial Rookwood production vase is marked at the base with Rookwood's flame mark, "XV (1915), shape #2214 and "P" to denote porcelain body composition.

H 9.25", D 4.5", rim 4", base 2.75".
