Royal Doulton Figurine, “Cocker Spaniel in a Basket", HN 2585

Royal Doulton, a classic English name in tableware and ceramics with a pedigree dating back to 1815, was granted the Royal warrant in 1901 by King Edward VII. Royal Doulton launched its definitive HN Series of Pretty Lady figurines in 1913, and these collectables increased in popularity exponentially, driving the move into collectable figurines by 1939. In 2005, this historic name became part of the Waterford Wedgwood group. Today, Royal Doulton is a world-class brand in quintessential British tableware, collectable figurines, crystal, glass and giftware.

This charming figurine, with production between 1941 and 1985, is a wonderful depiction of a cuddly Cocker Spaniel curled up in a basket.

Condition is mint, free from chipping, cracking, crazing or restoration.

Marked at base with Royal Doulton's crest mark, HN #2585 and finishers mark.
