Rare Consolidated Florentine Vase c 1927, Acid-etched Green

Following on the heels of their successful Martele' Art Glass ware, Consolidated delivered a one-two punch in 1927 with the introduction of two additional lines of significance – Catalonian and Florentine. The Florentine line featured acid-etched designs with floral, stippled or plume motifs on richly colored glass, and is considered very rare today.

This beautiful and rare Consolidated Florentine Vase demonstrates their mastery of the craft, with its delicately intricate plume pattern etched into gorgeous emerald green glass. Condition is good, with minuscule nicks and bites on the rim, which would be easily polished out, and a .5" oval shaped bubble mid-point within the glass that is difficult to notice. There is no other chipping or cracking.

Unmarked, but guaranteed to be authentic Consolidated Florentine glass.

H 9", D 6", rim 3", base 3.25".
