Phoenix Glass Sculptured Artware "Wild Geese" Vase, c 1938, Brown

When Kenneth Haley, who, with his father Reuben had created Consolidated's Martele' line of art glass in 1926, left Consolidated for the Phoenix Glass Company in 1928 he took with him 45 of the Consolidated Martele' molds, which were to become Phoenix's "Reuben Line", and the basis for their "Sculptured Artware" line of art glass. This expanded line of glass was in production by 1934, and featured new pieces and finishes.

This impressive Phoenix Sculptured Artware "Wild Geese" vase features rich mocha brown coloring over satin milk glass. It is in excellent condition, with superior mold and color, and only minor nicking at the rim.

Unmarked, but guaranteed to be original vintage Phoenix Sculptured Artware circa 1938.

H 9.5", W 12", D 4.5", rim and base 6.5" x 3".
