When Kenneth Haley, who, with his father Reuben had created Consolidated's Martele' line of art glass in 1926, left Consolidated for the Phoenix Glass Company in 1928 he took with him 45 of the Consolidated Martele' molds, which were to become Phoenix's "Reuben Line", and the basis for their "Sculptured Artware" line of art glass. This expanded line of glass was in production by 1934, and featured new pieces and finishes.

This gorgeous Phoenix Sculptured Artware Madonna vase features a serene female profile deeply molded in blue cameo relief, over white satin sculptured glass.

Condition is excellent, with an imperceptible nick on one ribbed side, free from chipping, cracking or color loss.

Unmarked, but guaranteed to be original, vintage Phoenix Sculptured Artware.
