Weller Pottery “Roma” 8” Vase, Mackintosh Rose, Ca. 1920

The Weller Pottery of Zanesville was one of the most prolific of the Ohio Potteries, creating lines ranging from high-end art ware to functional commercial ware.

Weller's "Roma", a middle period line of creamware produced from the mid-teens through the late 1920's with a vast number of shapes in the Arts & Crafts style, was typically accented with floral motifs in pinks, greens or reds.

This terrific Weller Roma vase features a rectangular form of panels decorated with roses in the style of Rennie Mackintosh.

Condition is excellent, free from chipping, cracking or restoration, with production flaws and fine crazing typical of this creamware line.

Marked at the base with die-impressed "WELLER".

H 8.25", W 3", rim 3.25" base 2.5"
