Roseville Pottery Laurel Vase #675-9, Green, Ca. 1934
Roseville's Laurel, introduced in 1934, is another of the pottery's middle period lines which attracts both Arts & Crafts and Art Deco collectors, depending on glaze color. Laurel in a mottled green glaze, it's been suggested, is destined to rival Roseville's high end "Baneda" line with Arts & Crafts collectors. The red and yellow variations of Laurel appeal to Art Deco lovers, who are attracted to the dramatic contrast of the sleek black accenting.
