When Kenneth Haley, who, with his father Reuben had created Consolidated's Martele' line of art glass in 1926, left Consolidated for the Phoenix Glass Company in 1928, he took with him 45 of the Consolidated Martele' molds, which were to become Phoenix's "Reuben Line", and the basis for their "Sculptured Artware" line of art glass. This expanded line of glass was in production by 1934, and featured new pieces and finishes.
This gorgeous Phoenix Sculptured Artware Fern vase features beautiful and hard to find chartreuse coloring over pearlized milk glass.
Condition is excellent, with superior mold and color, free from chipping, cracking or color loss, with age-appropriate wear at the base.
