Roseville Pottery Iris Vase #130-4, Pink, Ca. 1939

Roseville's graceful Iris, a late period line introduced in 1939, was praised in advertisements of the day as one of the most successful decorative motifs produced by the pottery in years. Featuring a realistic interpretation of the popular perennial set against a sculpted, smooth glazed ground and accented with Art Deco-inspired handles.

This lovely and diminutive Roseville Iris vase #130-4 in Coral Pink features a "loving cup" form adorned with high-set Deco handles, and boasts clear, crisp mold work and finishing that is not often seen on smaller Roseville pieces. Condition is excellent, free from chipping, cracking, or restoration, with faint crazing present and glaze peppering common to this line.

Marked at the base with die-impressed "Roseville 130-4".

H 4", W 4", rim 2.75", base 2.5"
