Superb Roseville Pottery Columbine Jardiniere #655-4, Frost Blue, Ca. 1941

One of three patterns Introduced in 1941, this elegant line from Roseville's late period features a restrained rendering of blooms and buds accented with variegated leaves on a smooth matte ground.

This pristine Roseville Columbine jardiniere #655-4 in Frost Blue with yellow and green floral motif features a unique squat form with graceful, gently scalloped rim and high-set peaked handles.

Condition is immaculate and appears unused, with superb mold and color, free from chipping, cracking or restoration, with very faint crazing present.

Marked at the base with molded raised-relief "Roseville U.S.A. 655-4".

H 4", D 7", rim 4", base 3.25".
