Sowerby Glass "Seated Lady" Flower Holder, Ca. 1935

One of England's largest and long-lived manufacturers of decorative pressed glass, Sowerby Glass' slogan "Art Glass For The Millions" would be most successfully applied to their extensive range of highly collectible Art Deco glass of the 1920's and 1930's.

This exquisite circa 1930's Sowerby Glass "Seated Lady" 12-hole flower figure depicts a diaphanously draped seated nude in gorgeous blue satin glass.

Condition is excellent, free from chipping or cracking, with minor age-appropriate nicking and wear.

H 8.5", W 3.25", base 4.75".
