Roseville Pottery Corinthian Wall Pocket #1232-8, Ca. 1924

Roseville's Italianate "Corinthian", a middle period line introduced in 1923, is one of three 1920's lines that feature classically inspired, fluted forms. Like "Donatello" before it and "Normandy" which followed, Corinthian features a cream ground with green channels, accented with a grapevine band below the rim.

This lovely Corinthian wall pocket, produced circa 1924, features a subtly arched mounting plate and renaissance-style rim.

Condition is excellent, free from chipping, cracking or restoration, with typical loose crazing and glaze inconsistency toward the bottom point.

Marked with "Rv" ink stamp.

H 8.25", W 5", D 3".
