Art Deco Ramses "Roxana" Satin Glass Powder Box, Free Shipping!
Produced for the Ramses Cosmetics Company circa 1930 and made from satin glass with a deeply molded draped design, this octagonal jar, nicknamed "Roxana" by collectors, features diaphanously draped nudes at the corners with a zaftig female figure atop the lid, and is typical of the pieces manufactured during the Art Deco and depression era.

Condition is excellent, with two imperceptible nicks at the lid edge and typical minor mold roughness at the rim of the box, otherwise free from chipping or cracking, with minor age appropriate wear to the base.
